We've seen a few posts that say this is not a "big week" for comics. And sure, Brian Michael Bendis took a week off, but many of our favorite titles are returning and we are excited for a solid week with a long list of great comics! Catwoman returns this week with issue 3, and the mysterious orchestrator of the crimes framing Catwoman will be revealed! This week also brings the return of Iceman with the beginning of a new five issue series! In case you couldn't tell from our Instagram, we LOVE Squirrel Girl, and we are crazy excited for this weeks issue- a standalone, all silent issue!
Now lets talk about three brand new series hitting shelves on Wednesday! First up, we've got MCMLXXV from Image Comics, which tells the story of New York cab driver Pamela Evans, who also happens to fight monsters with a magical tire iron. Judging by the cover and that description, we're betting on a badass story! We also see the premier this week of a new comic, which tells the story of two master thieves who have vanished, and their child who is pretending to be them both while also investigating their disappearance! Moth & Whisper #1 follows Niki, the child of Moth and Whisper and a genderqueer teenager trying to find their way alone in a cyberpunk dystopia. This sounds like a thrilling new addition to our reading pile! Last, but certainly not least, from the new series list this week is Welcome to Wanderland #1! Bellamy knows everything about the rides and characters at Wanderland, so when she finds herself in the real Wanderland, she's surprised to learn these characters she thought she knew aren't quite what they seem.
