Scroll through our recommendations for November 14th's New Comic Book Day, listed below!

This week brings a few new titles we're excited to pick up! The first is Bitter Root #1 from Image Comics, which adds a supernatural twist to the 1920s Harlem Renaissance, following a family of monster hunters! Will the Sangerye Family work past all of their familial drama to save humanity, or will humanity suffer a terrible fate? We can't wait to read this new series! This week also means the return of our favorite crew from the ship named Serenity! Originally airing on Fox in 2002, Firefly is a new comic from Boom which looks at the backstory of the characters from the cult-classic tv show.

Next on our list: Hedy Lamarr was a brilliant actress and inventor- and is starring in a new biographical graphic novel! Hedy Lamarr: An Incredible Life, published by Humanoids, tells the story of this larger-than-life woman who overcame sexism and abuse to cement her name in American history (and who would have turned 104 last week)!

Last, but not least, on our list of new titles is a one-shot from Image: The Terrible Elisabeth Dumn Against The Devils in Suits. Image promises "this is a story that will haunt you long after you've turned the final page" and we can't wait to get our hands on this and find out why!
