New March Releases!!

March is here and it brings with it a lions-share of new comix!

First up we have Assassin Nation, a new title illustrated by Squirrel Girl's Erica Henderson! The world's greatest hitman must hire the twenty top assassins to be his bodyguards after an attempt is made on his life; part mystery and murder-fest, part hilarious buddy comedy, this title is described as similar to Hot Fuzz and Deadpool and we can't wait to pick it up! Another new comic reminiscent of a Hollywood favorite? The mini-series based on Netflix's Glow! The four part series will feature all of our favorite Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, and we're interested to see how dynamic characters like Allison Brie's Ruth (a.k.a Zoya the Destroya) translate from screen to page! Last but not least in our list of familiar pop-culture inspired series? A new mini-series for Sabrina the Teenage Witch! We are very excited to visit our favorite high-schooler back in Greendale the way we remember from our childhoods, and even better, the series is being illustrated by the always talented Veronica Fish! Ok, maybe we spoke too soon on those familiar titles- but these next two will sound familiar as continuations on earlier series! The other exciting part, is they're both starring the amazing Kamala Khan! Or should we say magnificent? The two "new" series are Magnificent Ms. Marvel and Marvel Rising! If you read our earlier new release round ups then you know how sad we were to say goodbye to G. Willow Wilson on her five year run of Ms. Marvel. The new series feels bittersweet, but we're ready to see what Saladin Ahmed brings to the table as the writer for the new slightly more grown up Magnificent Ms. Marvel. And of course we never miss an opportunity to see Ms. Marvel team up with her BFF Squirrel Girl (plus Spider-Gwen and American Chavez!), so we can't wait to pick up the new Marvel Rising run! The last new title on our "to showcase" list is one you might have heard about, as it's receiving a lot of buzz on social media. Little Bird features a young woman who is fighting against an oppressive American Empire, while searching for who she truly is and what her own identity is in a world filled with destruction. Featuring some of the surrealism of series such as Akira, with the limitless possibilities in the story like those of Saga this mini-series promises to be a powerhouse of action and adventure!

We can't wait for all of the amazing comics coming out this month featuring dynamic femme characters, writers, and artists!

And in case you missed it: You can now purchase comics and graphic novels in our shop! We are slowly adding inventory as we get things situated, so bear with us, but you CAN pre-order a few of the titles coming out this month!
