Femme Power Picks: March 6th!

Scroll through our recommendations for March 6th's New Comic Book Day, listed below!

As we begin the month of March, we don't have many new comic series starting this week, but we do have a few that we are excited about!

First up is Domino Hotshots, a five issue mini-series, written by Gail Simone, this new run features an all new team of international women of mystery as they are caught between warring nations!

The other new series that we have coming out this week is Morning in America, written by Magdalene Visaggio! This promises to be an amazing new comic with hints of Paper Girls (minus the paper route and time travel), a group of delinquent teens must figure out the cause of a series of mysterious disappearances in their hometown after a new factory became operational!

There is one graphic novel that we are incredibly excited about, that is being released this week (full disclosure we got to read this book last month)! Starting middle school is always tough when you’re not sure where you’ll fit in, but Faith’s year seems off to a good start when a popular 8th grader asks her to join the soccer team! Having never played before, Faith ends up with a ragtag group of alternates who teach her about loyalty and friendship on and off the field. We were surprised by the honest portrayal of a diverse group of young people hope this is how groups of middle schoolers actually support each other!

There may only be a couple of new titles this week, but there are so many returning favorites, including Die, Paper Girls, Deadly Class and Giant Days!

You can now purchase comics and graphic novels in our shop! We are slowly adding inventory as we get things situated, so bear with us, but you can order a few of the titles coming out on Wednesday! As we decide what we should stock in the shop, we would love your feedback, so always feel free to send us an email or leave us a message on Facebook or Instagram!
