Femme Power Picks: July 10th!!

There are three new series starting this week, and they cover quite a diverse range of genres! First up is a new series from Marvel Comics- Invisible Woman! Susan Storm gets her first solo series (after almost sixty years!!), where we finally learn the secrets of her past and her former ties with S.H.I.E.L.D.! Even though this is a limited run series, we can't wait to read it and learn more about the history of the Invisible Woman before she was in the Fantastic Four!

Next up, from Boom! Studios we have an awesome new series titled Ghosted in L.A.! Free rent in Los Angeles is something Daphne Waters never thought she would be lucky enough to find, but there's a catch- her new roommates are all ghosts! We’re big fans of writer Sina Grace and we can't wait to read this story about living life to the fullest and making new friends in a new city!

In the world of graphic novels, the big title this week is Boom! Studios new graphic novel, The Magicians: Alice's Story. For those who are fans of the hit TV Show on SYFY, this new original graphic novel, written by Lilah Sturges and Lev Grossman, follows the events of the original prose novel, but from the eye's of Alice. If you’ve ever wondered what this brilliant and tenacious magician was thinking, then here’s your chance to see her side of the story, including the events that unfolded in the magical land of Fillory!

We also have some returning favorites this week such as Black Cat, Catwoman, Ironheart, Unnatural and so many other Femme Power Comix favorites!
