Femme Power Picks: February 13th

Scroll through our recommendations for February 13th's New Comic Book Day, listed below!

While there are three new series worth checking out, Avengers: No Road Home, Hit-Girl: Season Two, and Wonder Twins, this week for us is all about the next issues of returning favorites and new graphic novels!

We are psyched for the next issues of Blackbird (the art from Jen Bartel is nonstop incredible), By Night (this series is hilarious- why isn't everyone reading it?), Captain Marvel (we always love seeing her team up with Spider-Woman), Ironheart (we have been loving Eve Ewing's writing of Riri!), and Ms. Marvel (the final issue!).

For graphic novels, we are of course counting down till the next volume of Tokyo Tarareba Girls is in our hands! We are also very interested in checking out PTSD, which follows a soldier after she attemps to return to civilian life after active duty, and is challenged to embrace her vulnerability in order to heal. We have been fairly honest with how PTSD (the diagnosis, not the book) has impacted our lives, and so we're tentative but interested to see how it is portrayed in this book. And though it is prose and not a graphic novel, we are also very excited to read Faith Erin Hicks' new book, Comics Will Break Your Heart. We highly recommend you take a look at the description below- we bet some of you will be interested in this title too!

Each title, listed below in alphabetical order, includes cover art and a brief description. To learn more about each title, click on the cover art image and head over to Previews World!
