December 19th New Comix!!

Scroll through our recommendations for December 19th's New Comic Book Day, listed below!

The new series we can't wait to pick up? Betty & Veronica! Written by Jamie Lee Rotante (who did an amazing job on Betty & Veronica: Vixens), this brand new series takes us to senior year at Riverdale High, as tensions rise when these BFF's find out that they may not be going to the same college as originally planned! These are long beloved characters, and given how much we've enjoyed some of the other modern spins from Archie Comics, we're excited to see the direction that this new series takes us! Fingers crossed for a story more focused on the friendship between these young women and less on mutual crushes.

This week also brings the new series Livewire from Valiant Entertainment, and writer Vita Ayala! Vita is famous in our book for their work on The Wilds, as well as many other titles from Marvel, DC, Image, and IDW (just to name a few)! Starring in their first solo series, Livewire takes the center stage in the Valiant Universe. We find the character on the run from the Government after forcing the entire United States into a blackout! We have come to know and love Vita's style and can't wait to see what she adds to this new story!

Some of our favorites are returning this week as well, just in time for last minute holiday shopping! Make sure you check out our recommendations below for December 19th's New Comic Book Day! Each title, listed in alphabetical order, includes cover art and a brief description. To learn more about each title, click on the cover art image and head over to Previews World!
